GRS Fluid Handling is working with a client, who is a top manufacturer of compressed air products and equipment, to search for a top technical salesman. This position will oversee sales for a Western Regional territory and be responsible for the total sales performance of their blower line.

Background Required
  • Successful track record of selling blowers; Preferably positive displacement blowers
  • A four year degree, preferably a technical degree
  • Ability to work autonomously, based in a home office
  • Ability to travel to a west coast territory as required

Position Open at the Houston Corporate Office

Qualifications:
  • Package design background
  • Familiar with process equipment piping and skid arrangement
  • Electrical Knowledge
  • Familiar with all applicable codes and standards as related to the process industry
  • Auto-Cad experience
  • Familiar with hazardous area applications

Position will be responsible for the following:
  • Overseeing fabrication, testing and in some cases, customer witness testing

SR. SERVICE SPECIALIST
Charlotte, North Carolina

We currently have an opening for a Sr. Service Specialist whose duties are as follows: Execute and manage areas of warranty, customer service, service administration, product updates, and education for Hitachi Air Technology Group satisfaction. In this role, you will ensure that all distributors are properly trained, and all product issues are resolved expeditiously. This position will be the first point of contact for all technical and troubleshooting inquiries for Distributors/OEM/Strategic Accounts and serve a liaison role with Japan. You will make field service calls, ensure proper application, and assist in tracking product quality. Additionally, you will help to differentiate, qualify additional services and service related products that create customer value.

To qualify, you must have 10+ years of service experience in the compressor industry (combination of service technician and service administration), and have service and application knowledge of Recip, Scroll, Rotary Screw (Oil-free and Oil-injected), Compressors Controls & Air Treatment (Refrig. Dessicant dryers). Ability to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot compressor and refrigeration products. Excellent service familiarity of competitive brands, and a customer focused and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently is essential. Superior oral/written communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 35% domestically, and take one trip to Japan per year will be expected. A.S. or B.S. degree a plus.
