Com Air Works Pte Ltd, a newly established company in Singapore, is set to make a significant impact in the industrial air compressor sector by focusing on the implementation of best practices in compressed air systems. Terry, with over 35 years of experience in the industry, brings a wealth of expertise to the company. He has worked with some of Singapore's most prominent organizations, such as Singapore Mass Rapid Transit, SBS Transit and Singapore’s national water authority, Public Utilities Board. Terry's extensive experience with large-scale, high-demand clients further strengthens Com Air Works' commitment to delivering top-tier services that meet the complex needs of industrial air systems.
The two entrepreneurs attended the 2024 Best Practices EXPO & Conference in Atlanta, GA, where they completed intensive training on the fundamentals of compressed air systems. The sessions, which were led by Ron Marshall and Frank Moskowitz, covered key topics such as compressor controls, leak management, estimating energy costs and pressure drop. Terry, who brings years of experience in the air compressor industry, passed the Compressed Air & Gas Institute Certified Compressed Air System Specialist (CCASS) exam with ease, while Yu Ming, a newcomer to the field, is eager to expand his knowledge and expertise.
The duo’s decision to launch Com Air Works on Nov. 11, 2024, comes from their recognition that many industries are not using best practices in their compressed air systems. With a focus on enhancing system efficiency and reducing energy consumption, Com Air Works is poised to fill this gap in the Singapore and Southeast Asian market. The company will be providing a wide range of services, from offering sales, service, installation and spare parts for air compressors, compressed air dryers, filters and other components.
