EL-AV Compressors USA has acquired Stanron Steel Specialties and relocated its U.S. headquarters to its new location in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The acquisition represents a significant expansion of the company’s U.S. capabilities and supports its long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in the North American compressed air market.
Founded in 1972, Stanron Steel Specialties brings more than 50 years of experience in precision metal fabrication, stamping, welding and assembly. By combining these established manufacturing capabilities with EL-AV’s experience in compressed air equipment, the company is building a stronger U.S.-based platform for continued growth.
EL-AV now has over 25 employees at its Fort Lauderdale headquarters, bringing sales, technical support, service, inventory and manufacturing resources together at one location.

The new headquarters provides the company with expanded space for air compressor and spare parts inventory, equipment preparation, technical and service support, fabrication and future production activities.
A key objective of the acquisition is to create the manufacturing infrastructure needed to bring more of the company’s air compressor production to the U.S. The company plans to begin manufacturing rotary screw and piston air compressors at its Fort Lauderdale facility, with the goal of introducing its first fully USA-made air compressor units by the end of 2027.
The combination of local manufacturing capabilities, increased inventory and an expanded technical team is expected to provide the company with greater flexibility, shorter response times and improved support for customers and distribution partners throughout North America.
“This is about building EL-AV for the long term,” Mizrahi said. “Our goal is to establish the capability to manufacture air compressors in the United States while continuing to improve product availability, technical support and overall responsiveness to the market.”
