Janne Leinonen has started as Chief Executive Officer of Tamturbo. He leads the Finland-based manufacturer of 100% oil-free turbo air compressors from 115 to 325 kW. The machines run on active magnetic bearings, with no oil anywhere in the air path.
The appointment was announced in February 2026 as part of the company’s planned leadership transition to accelerate its next phase of international growth. Leinonen brings a proven track record in industrial technology leadership, global business development and scaling organizations. Before joining Tamturbo, he held senior leadership positions at ABB, including key roles in the drives and robotics businesses. Most recently, he served as CEO of Trussmatic Oy.
As CEO, Leinonen will lead the company’s continued efforts to expand its global presence and strengthen its position as a supplier of 100% oil-free turbo air compressors for industrial plants.
