Join Keynote Speaker, Hank van Ormer, Founder of Air Power USA,  to learn how to establish “realistic” goals  for flow measurement to help have   a compressed air system in complete balance; with the supply and demand-side operating in synchronous concert.

Many compressed air management systems are limited in performance because they are only pressure based without considering flow. Flow measurement is a critical measurement, not only to establish compressed air supply  specific power (scfm/kW)  but also to evaluate the basic efficiency of the air-using equipment.

There are many ways to estimate flow, but only flow meters can actually delivery an answer in scfm at a rated pressure. This webinar will review basic types of flow meters such as insertion and in-line and will address in detail each of the flow meters’ limitations, optimal installation procedures and basic measuring protocols.

Our first Sponsor Speaker is Pascal van Putten, Managing Director for VP Instruments, whose presentation is titled, “Managing Bi-directional Flow & Implementing Flow Monitoring.” Both of these topics can be a challenge and technologies able to manage them will be reviewed.

Our second Sponsor Speaker is Michael Guelker, Product Manager for Festo, whose presentation is titled, “Measuring Flow on Production Equipment.” Integrating flow measurement into the air preparation units on-board production equipment has become easy to do.
